  • Working on my X-member

    Here is the start of our new crossmember. When my motor mount plate is finished it will be tied into the cage. Can you say no more broken trannies.

          to innovation, could you explain how this works, what part of the trans do you have to worry about breaking, also would that hold up during an accident?

            Everybody that has spent any time on PT should know about our tranny problems. As far as holding up in a accident who knows. I would say that it will hold up better than any of the factory stamped steel.

                            Please correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't look like they'll work with your existing traction bars.

                            BTW...very nice looking headers!

                              ground clearance?

                              looks good, too bad i got too many pipes down there and my car has like 2-3" clearance at the lowest point under the x-member
