Colt cams feeler for kl 2.5 liter

Stacy, it would be nice to get some answers about this BB. Some of us have been making plans for the last two months over it's eventual start. Some of us have already spent money and made preparations for this BB, and we all deserve an answer.

I still havent heard anything back either guys.. If i dont hear anything soon ill PM damon again and ask him to have stacey get a hold of me again... I know colt said they are busy and they wanted to limit our bb to ten sets.. So i didnt see any issues like this coming up.. At this point i dont know what to think...

Guys, I checked with Geoff at Colt cams back on 10/7/10 and asked him about a future bulk buy. He came back to me and gave me all the information regarding a 1st gen bulk buy. I have this set per his request for November 1st.

I would have imagined that in talking with Geoff Jason would have found out that Geoff wished to do a 1st gen Bulk Buy.

Hey everyone just heard back from stacey.. I think everything is fine but dont hold me to it yet.. Stacey said geoff over at colt cams sent her the info for the 1st ben bb thats why she said it was going to be for the 1st gen.. I truly believe it was an accident on his part because ive been discussing this with him for months and i dont see why he would want to risk running a bb for a different generation of car when he doesnt know if the interest or money is there or not.. I am going to call geoff at colt tomorrow to get more answers.. I will post back as soon as i find out..

looks like it. people are becomign demanding and we just had a bulk buy a few months ago for cams.

I just cant believe this is happening.. Ive been talking to geoff personally about this bb for a few months now.. Ive discussed how many sets could be done, what grinds, prices etc etc.. Ive called several times for other members for information so this has been discussed many times.. If he is too busy to do cams for the KL engines right now it would have been nice of him to call me and let me know plans have changed or something.. Ive put a lot of time and effort into doing these bb's and making sure everything went perfectly and everyone was happy.. It just doesnt make sense to me for him to do this just out of nowhere but i guess ill see what he says tomorrow morning when i call him.. Im building my engine for my drag car this winter and i was planning on getting in on this bb for the KL as well but if this doesnt happen ill just send my cores somewhere else to have them done..

colt is your best bet. i would just spend the extra 100 bucks. wouldnt bother me 1 bit

I hope you can contact Colt and sort this thing. You've really put a lot of effort into this and it would be a shame if the BB wouldn't take place.

Anyway, props for all the work and hopefully we can get something positive.

Ya thank you for all the hard work. I mean it. I hope this gets sorted out, I don't want to miss out on this so I can also get my motor rebuilt over the winter so it will just be done and not have to wait for stuff like this.

Good news guys!!! Just talked with geoff at colt and it appears that it was a MISTAKE!! Geoff told me his main focus was on our KL bb and that the 1st gen bb was suppose to be a added on thing because he wasnt expecting a lot of interest for the 1st gen.. Geoff told me that he is going to resend all of the info to stacey as well as me this time.. This KL bb should still happen.. Although now it has to be moved up a month to around december because november is already almost here.. So hold tight everyone because i think we will be able to work this out.. I will keep you posted!! Now i need to get in touch with stacey..

Thank God! I've been sitting on my packaged cams and payment for a while. Would really hate to not have this happen.
