I am super excited for this event though, even if I don't have a car.
And Emily (my fiance) will be there and that makes me happy.
It's hard to get her out to these type of things.

There was a test and tune Fri, Tom. I was hoping to run my car. Though, now... it doesn't seem like within the realm of possibility.

Yupp couldnt agree more but at least I'll get to see it.

I've got a couple things to before I make the trip.
- New passenger wheel bearing
- New passenger cv boot and possibly axle (we'll see how bad its worn)
- and hopefully finish my quad projector set up

It needs to be in top shape if Im going to make a 9 hour journey down to the states lol

LOL...Sorry guys, we'll see. I didn't realize there was a test 'n tune Friday. Maybe I'll run the car then. Also though, please understand that my new transmission is still unproven at this point, and I'm a bit scared of breaking so far from home. I'll be DRIVING the car there and back, not trailering it. Furthermore, I just replaced the driveshaft seal in it tonight. It was leaking a bit. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's fixed!

It's looking sunny and in the 80's to upper 80's by the weekend.

Here is whats going at the track. Friday will be a great time to test the track out since it will be new asphalt. Test n tune keep it off the street grudge racing from 430 to 11 pm.

Track repairs are still underway and we will not be able to open this weekend 8-17-12 – 8-19-12. Mark Westler from the ADRL will be coming to The New Capitol Raceway on Friday and will be working with the Capitol Staff to bring the old girl back to life.

We will be open on Friday 8-24-12. Come on out and test out the new surface. We want to thank all out racers and Fans for there patience as we fix up the track

Ok who has any gopro's and a good video camera to film the races so we can put together a video of the weekend as well as the grudge match races?

I have 3 gopros and plenty of mounts as well as a decent digital camera to take photos.

We will need someone to volunteer to sit in the stands and help film the races if possible.
