My hope is that Prominent members will visit this thread often and answer Questions!

I see a lot of new guys asking basic questions about probe performance, so I figured would start this to cut down on repeated basic threads...

What goes in this, what options do I have for headers, what spark plugs to run, What brand of intake to go with, etc....

We want to offer our advice to anyone that asks, on pretty much any topic in the probe performance world. This is NOT to be a "Stump the Probe/Mx6 owners" thing. That can be a whole 'nother thread.

DISCLAIMER: WE ARE NOT THE BE-ALL, END-ALL OF PROBE PERFORMANCE!


We have a VERY firm understanding of it, We love to SEARCH, and We'd like to help anyone out I can. We will do everything we can to steer you in the right direction of finding an answer we don't know, if we can't answer it ourselves.

Why do some Probes have the B61P dipstick and some have a KL01?

And not all of them have been used, I have seen it on some factory cars and I know have never been touched. They are slightly different in their oil readings as well.
