Does a CAI help the ATX launch? If it does hwo does it?

          Well a CAI

Is to ensure that cold air enters your TB.
The colder the air, the better the engine will run and
will give x amount of HP gains.

Does it help the low end though. Or is it mainly for the top end?

A CAI (cold air intake) will get you more power in all rpm ranges, in theory. Whether or not that's always true, I dunno.

But yeah, colder air is always better. I believe that for every 10 degrees you lower the air intake charge temperature, you will get an increase of 1% in power. May not sound like a WHOLE lot, but a CAI can effectively lower your intake air temps by like 30 or 40 degrees, (versus just having a WAI.) So, on a probe, that's like 6 or 7 more horse. Not bad if you ask me.

It looks almost about the same thing.. I mean, on the 97+ prelude intakes, will the two piece work as well?? I can actually get that one in colors.. and what other supplies am I going to need with that? thanks

Adam! 'Sup, homes? Glad to see you finally joined!

Well, personally, I could care less who buys my intake. It's actually off the car right now, the o2 fitting on the headers made the sensor wires rub against the intake, so I took it off. Not sure how soon I'll be doing the scoop though, I may just make another intake, and ditch the HS.

You guys can just PM if you want.
