        No. An OBD2 to 1 conversion harness would be needed and an OBD1 ecu. It's been done too many times to count

          • same here. What ive seen done is swap to stock injectors, unhook conversion harness, plug stock ecu back in, don't boost, inspect

                  • Well, technically doesn't a motor have a VIN? It could be matched against the VIN on the dash...It could also be checked against the VIN on the title. Plus, the VIN is also listed on the registration.

                    Either way, I'm pretty sure if you got caught doing that you'd be in some shit.

                    • Some newer OBD2 computers actually have the vin number in the EPROM... I never thought they did but I was snooping around in my scan tool and found it.

                      If you register the car as an older one the only people that would know are the people that know cars extremely well and realize It's a newer body style.
