Yeah man, you're not kidding! We can't do anything my ACTUAL b-day weekend (weekend of the 14th) because it's our anniversary. Then, the following weekend is her son's bday. Then the weekend after that is when I'd be looking to [finally] do something for my bday, when things slow down a bit. The good thing here is that it might, just *maybe*, be warm enough to party out on the deck.

So my ex got a hold of me yesterday; wants to get together to talk tonight.

My mother texted me, meanwhile... asks me if Amanda has talked to me about Ian living with me.

Naturally I say, "Wait, WOT?!"

Something very big might be happening soon. I guess they (as in my mom and my ex) were talking about Ian coming to live with me because of my ex's desire to get out of a challenging living situation.

How long would that last? Is she just going to let you have him till she gets re-situated to make it easier on herself?

Technically, I'm not supposed to know. She was probably going to talk to me about it tonight. It's definitely going to be an adaptation.

That's....interesting. Wonder if she wants it to be more of a permanent living arrangement (him living with you, that is)? Or is this just until she gets out of her situation?

Either way, that's going to be a HUGE change for you, since (correct me if I'm wrong) you're only used to having him on select weekends.
