    • My father's cat has been suffering from failing kidneys for some time now. His health has been failing, but we've been working really hard to make it so it's not debilitating. Last few days have been worse. He's not eating. Barely drinking. My father and step mom have been giving him a saline solution under the skin. Even had to puree food in a blender and almost shove it down his throat. He's been really picky about the food he eats, even more so once he got sick. My father stayed home with him today. He's not eating. He was howling the other day when I went to feed him for lunch. Today I stopped in to see my father and check on Spazzy. Turns out I was saying goodbye and seeing him for the last time. He was laying on the floor. My father had placed a towel on him. He tried to make him as comdortable as possible, placed him on the couch, didn't want it. Just wanted to lay on the floor, virtually lifeless. Almost completely un-responsive. Just layed there... didn't blink. Began this heavy, weezing when I 1st pet him. I layed with him. Pet him a little. Nuzzled him. I can't remember the last time I saw my father cry. Maybe my grandfather's funeral. He's been my father's best little friend for 15 years. I found him as a scrawny, fuzzy little shit of a kitten in 1997. I was 16. He earned his name. Spazzy. Even as I'm writing this, they may actually be administering the agent that puts him to sleep. I can't believe it. I'm going to miss my little buddy. I love you, big guy, RIP. :tear:

      I'm so sorry, Spazzy.

        • Make me an offer...

The ones at Gary's have all been good, the ones I've gotten anyhow. Less than $300 including having a yardman pull it out for you.

That depends, is delivery included? Serious note any idea on the compression/condition before it was pulled? Last one I had puked after a month of light driving...

All I remember is they call him "Spoony" in the NEPO area... I got a PM from a guy shortly after I bought it wanting to buy it from me is how I know. My next step is to PM that guy lol

                      • Yep, I've been there before. It's no easy task. I still remember the dog I grew up with. She was a keeshond, and was right in between my brother and me in age. We had her put down when I was 15 (she was 14). I was devastated, because she was literally around for my entire life.

The bond we form with animals is incredible. Unfortunately it's a double edged sword, since that bond is to inevitably be broken at some point in time. And sadly it's typically sooner rather than later.

                          • I was close to Spaz. But I didn't live with him for a number of years. So the bond faded some over the years. I still remember him as a kitten. He was king. Now, my bond with the 2 idiots I have at home is scary. I love them both fiercely.
