I wonder what'd happen if I leaned it out a little. I understand that I'd gain a bit, but how much and at what cost? I'm happy to leave it there. Considering at 19 psi it's a ****ing hair dryer and I don't have a FMIC.

That's all that would happen is you'd get more power. The only adverse affect is added combustion heat due to less fuel. Lean it out to 12.0 across the board and see what it do.

I just looked, it's around the high 10 AFR mark passed 6000. When I'm not making power anyways. It's around 11.4 when I'm making peak power from 4700-5500 or so.

11.4 is still rich buddy... 14.7 is stoich, but boosted cars are typically ran at 12.5. So all you're doing is throwing money out your exhaust pipe by running it that rich.

Said he'd give me 5000 cash, now he texted me a minute ago saying he could only get 4900. I told him 5000, or the car stays with me...I have no *need* to sell it...
Edit :: He just texted me back. I think he may have been playing games when he said he'd take it. He KNOWS that I told him multiple times that it's gotta be 5k or nothing at all. That was mentioned and made clear on the phone. Now he says he can get 4900 cash out of the bank, but can't come up with an extra 100 dollars?? Cmon man. Claims he is "going on vacation next week, and will let me know when he gets back." I've been in the game long enough to know what that means...I guess we'll see.
Oh, and of course the thing started misfiring on cylinder #4 when we went for a drive last night. Told him "hang on a sec"....popped the hood, reseated that plug wire, and she started running on all 6 like a champ. Btw, I will definitely have you powder those heatshields for me, Hiney. Don't get me wrong, the manifold paint is actually holding up great, but there's too much heat generated around that intake plumbing. I want to put the heatshields back on, but they look like shit. LOL...it's definitely a story. Ant, it's the principle here that counts. I told him 5k multiple times, and even at that I'm losing money on it. I don't need to sell it, and I don't need the money. And here's the thing, Ant...You don't know this guy like we do. It's most definitely some kind of story. My thoughts are that he flat out just doesn't have the money, but by saying he can come up with "most of it" it doesn't make him look as bad. Asking if I would take 4900 was just a formality. He knew that I wouldn't, but it makes him look better in the end.
