              True, but I'd be willing to bet he wasn't launching the hell out of his car. He was probably worried about breaking an axle or the tranny.

              Hell, my high 11 second pass last year could've been a 10 second pass if I launched the car hard/got traction...the trap speed was plenty high enough.

              Nice trap speed though, Andy. Got a video of the run?

              • Yeah. Sorry havent been on here much cable is getting installed tomorrow at my house in oswego.

                Yeah 13.6 at 109 with a 2.2 60 ft. Thats a decent 60 ft for street tires and it was super hot out too. With that trap speed it tells me the car can dip into the 12's no problem with good tires and a good launch.

                Trying to get the videos from my buddy who went who had his video camera. I will see what I can do about that.

                • Eh, you're going to start breaking parts if you attempt 12's. It'll be down to a launch, the Fury I raced launched on slicks was trapping around there. 110ish, IIRC.

                  • I'd say mid-high 12s are perfectly attainable without him breaking anything. I mean I wouldn't go racing it every weekend like WestPalm once you DO hit 12s, but I see no reason it wouldn't hold up to it a few times.

                    • Build a motor and cryo some gears with an LSD and it would be 12's and pretty much reliable.

                            • Anyone have a grey driver seat they want to sell me? Or both in black?

                              I can't wait until I have a good running probe! Next week I drop it off to the mechanic. Wow it feels busted right now with 2 bad axels, bad wheel bearings and a shitty tranny and an exhaust thats hanging.
