        • Some volvos did use a similar CHRA but the housings were quite different.

Got my exhuast Y-pipe build tonight when I go home from work. Just needing to get some flanges and a flexpipe tomorrow, which should also mean its time for the maiden voyage.

          • I got to take it on its first shakedown run on saturday. Couldnt find exhaust flanges so I had to run with it open under the car so it was effing loud. Only seeing 3psi at the moment which will be brought up to 6psi. Didnt want to drive it any more since there was no hood, open exhaust, expired tags, and we saw 2 cops during our 1.5 mile first trip. Got away with it the first time so I wasnt going to push my luck.

Exhaust flange just got ordered. Also re-upped my registration this morning so its all legal now. Im moving the radiator forward ever so slightly to get a little more distance between the front turbo and one of the fans. Need to make some custom rad hooks. Exhaust is getting hooked up saturday and then driving and tuning next weekend. More vids to come.

                    • I should say I was sorta on full boost. Flaky MBC is causing some erratic fluctuations so for now I have it set where it wont spike more than 6psi but it bleeds down to about 4psi over 5k. Shall all be fixed with the new Hallman on the way and moving a few vac lines around. Ill be sure to get more videos once that is fixed. For now heres how it runs.

                      • So, long time no update. I have driven the car a lot and it has been fabulous. I installed the Hallman MBC and it works beautifully. Im at a rock solid 6.5psi which seems to be about the limit that the S injectors can handle with the twins. The old Volvo bypass valve was maxed out early on and replaced with a greddy RS bov. The sound is growing on me but I still want a Tial 50mm.

I picked up some 929 injectors yesterday which I cleaned and replaced the filters an o-rings on. I just finished building the injector harness a little bit ago. Should have it installed this weekend if I can get time.

Also found the boost gauge I've been lusting for. No more Sunpro.

                              • They flow 310cc, as opposed to the 280cc S injectors, Krish. Should not need any more than that.
Heres the completed rails, shined up a little and ready for install.
