this one IS made for our car. Its over a grand though.

Id like to see a low cost effective turbo manifold made.

        • IIRC, that is a Protoge Manifold. They don't have a disty sticking out of the head on the drivers side. These might hit on the distributer of a Probe/MX6... unless you get rid of it somehow...

yeah that would work but it would be better to have a manifold that works both ways

                  • man the more and more i see the kit. i so wanna get it, but i'm worried about my stock motor. plus if i get the kit, i can't get bolts on. lol and a stock clutch can't handle it

                    • Your stock motor will be fine as long as you keep the fuel good and the boost ≤ 9 PSI. Now, I'd say the only "bolt on" you'll need is a new clutch and fuel related items. There is heavy sceptisism on UDP/Ultra-light FW's when it comes to turbo applications.

It can, IIRC. I don't think your steering rack will get in the way at all.

                          • Really? i know all the headers available need mods cause of the LH RH issue for us.

Ok I'm a newb so I don't know much about cars so could you tell me:
This can be used with the stock engine? (going by the above post yes but i'll make sure)
                            Works for manual and auto?
If i got this what else needs to be done?

If i had $3000 id get a KLZE but it ain't worth it for the performance increase.

i dont have a v6 but damn....i dont think its three grand to do a ze swap. arent they 900 bucks? cant be over two grand to get it in there. and if you dont have a $3000 "to do a klze swap" as you mentioned, i wouldnt consider going turbo cuz that has always cost around $3000. but....hopefully this vendor will prove me wrong....prove me wrong!

                              • Just sent the money for my pipes a half hour ago. Can't wait to get them installed with the collectors as primaries instead of the stock manifolds. I'll make sure to post my dyno results as a comparison between this kit and my old LudeSpeed pipes.

                                Thanks guys!
