Andy!!! I'm feelin a meet coming on. Hey, for that matter what the hell ever happened to Staats BBQ? I posted in that thread several times, and he claimed it'd be on 10/2...but haven't heard anything from him.

We will definitely have to get a meet together very soon, since who knows when the weather will take a turn for the worse.

Case in point - Friday is supposed to be 85, then Saturday has a high of 60 here!!

The meat on the smoker would have to be supervised. So I couldn't attend in that case. Goat's wedding is in Gettysburg, PA in Oct. I'd like to do both, but realistically, I don't see how we're going to pull off the tour when trying to save for a destination wedding. If we can, cool. I'm just freaking out because my paychecks just shrank by about half because of this car.

Right now the only upcoming date we could do is the weekend of October 9 and/or 10th, then we aren't free again until the 23/24.

But as Ant said we are going away one weekend in October for a wedding so money is a little tight. If we did this at the house I'd have to ask everyone to BYOB and possibly a side dish or some such and Ant and I would supply the meat. Hope that is okay!

If you want to combine it with the drive, I think that would be awesome, but again if we smoke meat someone needs to be with the smoker for most of the time. Wouldn't be able to steal away for a long cruise.
