        • Great time, as always guys. We really all need to get together more often...we had a blast! Ant, did you enjoy your lil nappypoo after we left?

Will, you're just lucky we had that Caravan in front of us, and a car full of people. Otherwise Erin would've had to embarrass you in the Outback.

                • Yeah, but the opposite side from where the sound was coming. I'm kinda pissed because I could have sworn I tightened them with the impact. If that's the case, they backed off. And I went around to every ****ing lug nut and used the torque stick. Set it to 85 ft-lbs.

                  • It's almost always the simplest thing...Did you get sidetracked when you were tightening them Ant, and maybe just forgot a few?

Because let's face it, lug nuts don't just back themselves off. Got anybody that you pissed off in your neighborhood? LOL

                    • Never underestimate the power of vibration. No matter, it'll never happen again. I thought I used the impact. Btw... the poo I'm currently taking is terribly unpleasant.

                      • But I thought you said you used the torque wrench to torque them to 85 lb ft? Vibration definitely shouldn't be able to back that off maing!

                        • In my experience never tighten a lug nut on an aluminum wheel any less than 90 ftlbs. I generally will go 100-110, 130 on my truck for the simple fact that those aluminum wheels actually have a steel insert in them. My reasoning is I used to tighten them to 85 and they would loosen up... That's why they tell you to check them again and retorque after 100 miles of driving. BS. Torque them to 100 and you won't have to touch them again.

Not the 1st time. Used the DeWalt.

                            • Hey Ant, Hope you had a great B-day party man. I am sorry I could not make it, I really wanted to go too, but stupid turn of events did not allow it to happen, like everything I tend to plan out. Did you guys take any pictures? would love to see them. Hopefully I can make it up to you in the next couple months if we get anything going again.
